No matter how thrilling your trip is after a while airports just get boring. Waiting at the airport for your flight can be an extremely boring and annoying experience, especially when there are delays. Also after going through snaking security lines and security checks, travellers have to go through noisy, jam-packed gate areas. Unless they have the option to head towards an airport lounge. Airport lounges may be travel industry’s best-kept secret. These calm and secluded areas make travelling less torturous. Lounges are akin to specialised hospitality clubs that service frequent flyers and passengers holding business- or first-class tickets.

Good news for the new age flyers. DreamFolks, one of India’s leading providers of travel benefits and services, has collaborated with DragonPass, world’s second largest service provider of airport lounge services with the objective of enhancing customer experience of DreamFolks’ Indian clients on global travel as well as to provide best in class Indian hospitality to inbound DragonPass’ global clients.

This announcement was supported with the launch of Dual Branded Card by Yogeshwar Dutt, the Indian freestyle wrestler. The function took place on February 16, 2017, at Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi in the presence of industry leaders.

The vivacious and energetic MD of DreamFolks Ms Liberatha while talking to The Dollar Business said, “I’m committed to making every traveller’s experience serviced by us easier and more enjoyable with a wide suit of global products.”

This tie-up will provide amenities in a total of 1800 plus touch points worldwide in over 120 countries for world class lounges access program and specialised restaurant access at airport terminals. Moreover,  the other bouquet of airport services such as worldwide duty-free shopping experience, airport meet & greet services and access to globally recognised wellness programs will also be made available.

The lounge management service industry in India is supposed to be worth $30 million in value presently, which is likely to grow to over $100 million by 2020. Globally the market size is around $400 million and the expected growth annually is around 15%.

“DragonPass is excited to be exclusively teaming up with DreamFolks to offer an unprecedented proposition positioned at driving enhanced customer value. DreamFolks’ local knowledge and synergetic customer-centric solutions are invaluable contributions towards servicing every customer touch-point in the airport ecosystem. Together with DreamFolks, we can ensure a seamless and significantly more enjoyable travel experience for all Indian consumers,” Mr Mark Koch, CEO of DragonPass said.

Currently, DreamFolks provides support to over one million footfalls in airport lounges across 41 locations in India. Complementing this is DragonPass vast access to a global suite of products including over 950 airport lounges, 1,000 + airport restaurant access, limousine and concierge services and currently servicing more than 12 million customers worldwide. Prominent clients worldwide for the alliance include the likes of American Express, VISA, MasterCard, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Diners Club International, RuPay and several other non-banking clients from the airlines and travel industry.

One thing is confirmed, this partnership is going to give several good reasons for travellers to come to the airport early.
