Since he personally believed in India he was also promoting Italian companies to deal or invest in the country.   Richard Verma, US Ambassador to India referring to the row of JNU, which is now foremost in the minds of every Indian remarked that, “diversity of thought and speech was one of India’s great hallmarks which will propel it forward in the next century”. Remarking on the Jat stir that projected a bleak image of India in the world market Francesco said “India is a stable market and it does not have to prove anything as we believe the Indian market”.  The Italian campaign is a bid by the country’s businessmen to highlight each and every sector, help support Italian lifestyle and businesses in India, find new business opportunities for their firms.  Italy has strong trading ties with India and looks at it as an investment haven.
