Kamal Jain appointed as CEO at APM Terminals Mumbai

Kamal Jain, IRTS 1991 batch is the new CEO of APM Terminals, Mumbai

Kamal Jain, Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) 1991 batch has been announced Chief Executive Officer, APM Terminals Mumbai effective 22 June, 2016. 

APM Terminals Mumbai is a joint venture between APM Terminals & the Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR). 

Prior to joining APM Terminals Mumbai, Kamal has served as Chief General Manager, Western Region, CONCOR, Mumbai. With a vast experience spanning 23 years in the Logistics industry particularly containerized cargo both of Domestic & EXIM nature and bulk cargo in Indian Railways, Kamal has held a number of important positions and worked on several significant assignments in his previous roles. He is keen to apply his experience in the terminal industry. 

Kamal has also been the recipient of the ‘Operating Efficiency Shield’ and General Manager’s Excellence Award for his outstanding operating performance in 1997. 

The Management team at APM Terminals Mumbai extended a warm welcome to their new CEO, while bidding adieu to Pradip Agrawal who has served as the company’s CEO since 2011. The terminal has grown under Pradip’s leadership, ranking it among the world’s most efficient terminals and promoted several initiatives towards ‘Ease of doing business’ for the Trade. Pradip has taken charge as Director - Domestic in his parent organization CONCOR with effect from 1st July, 2016.
