MR. PANKAJ GULATI, EXECUTIVE VP &COO, CDIL ELECTED ELCINA PRESIDENT
Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA) in its 49TH Annual General Meeting held in New Delhi on 14th September 2017 elected Pankaj Gulati as President for the year 2017-18.
Pankaj Gulati is the Executive Vice President and COO of Continental Device India Ltd. (CDIL), an ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO 14001 certified company that right from its inception in 1964 pioneered the manufacturing of Silicon Semiconductor Chips and Devices in India.
The AGM was followed by the 42nd edition of the ELCINA Annual Awards Ceremony through which the Association, each year, recognises excellence in electronics manufacturing and services to facilitate greater recognition to industry’s achievers.
ELCINA has been presenting these Awards for over four decades and these are widely regarded as one of the most respected appreciations in the industry. This year’s ELCINA-EFY awards were supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India and eminent technology industry leaders who participated as Award Committee members. This year the Awards were presented by the Chief Guest, Ajay Prakash Sawhney, IAS, Secretary, MeitY.
ELCINA was established in 1967 as the first industry association supporting electronics hardware, when India’s Electronics industry was still in its infancy. Since then, ELCINA has established itself as an interactive forum for electronics and IT manufacturers, actively interacting with the government and advising it on policy matters.
