Patanjali will launch some more dairy products, cattle feed and also natural manures into the market, said Yoga guru Baba Ramdev. The decision comes as the company aims to achieve a total turnover of Rs 10,000 crore by next year.

Ramdev said, "We will come out with more dairy products like liquid milk. We shall set up 3-4 dairy projects so that farmers can be empowered and people get commodities unadulterated.”

Ramdev added that the Patanjali group will focus on six sectors including natural food, dairy products, natural cosmetics, natural manure, cattle feed and natural medicines.

Laying stress on natural products, he said that he has seen feeds manufactured by other companies  containing 1- 4 percent urea being provided to the cattle. Urea has made an adverse impact on the health of over 150% of bovines in the country. Detailing on the future prospects of the group, he said Patanjali has plans to roll out natural manure that contains beneficial micronutrients for the crops emphasizing that his group would never bring any unhealthy product into the market.

He also said that Patanjali has no plans to take over any domestic brand like Hamdard, Zandu, or Dabur and called for all Indian brands to come out with better products and fight the international companies.

Ramdev also pointed out that more than 250 products including rice, flour and medicines are sold on no profit or no loss, which helps in increasing the price of other essential items.
