Provisions of Section 18 (a) & (b) of Article V of the Schedule to the United Nations

EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the United Nations (Privileges and Immunities) Act, 1947 (46 of 1947), the Central Government hereby declares that the provisions of Section 18 (a) & (b) of Article V of the Schedule to the said Act shall apply, mutatis mutandis, to Dr. Neeru Chadha, Member of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea. However, Section 18 (b) will be applicable only for such time as Dr. Neeru Chadha continues to be a Member of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.

2. This Notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazett
