Ramdev’s Patanjali to set up unit in MP

Patanjali Group wants to set up a food processing unit in MP.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Group is looking for the possibility of setting up a food processing facility in Madhya Pradesh, said Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh, on Monday.

Briefing the reporters, the Chief Minister said that Patanjali Group desires to establish a food processing unit in the state. For this, the group has already searched places around Pithampur Industrial Area, in the Dhar district of the state.

The state government will assist Patanjali Group in establishing the unit, in accordance with the food processing policy of the state, he added.

Last week, Acharya Balkrishna, close aide of Baba Ramdev, had visited the districts of Agar-Malwa and Dhar, to scout for a location for setting up two units in Madhya Pradesh under the Patanjali Yogpeeth.

Balkrishna said that the group has plans to set up a food processing facility and a research centre for cows in the state.
