regarding Ports for Coastal Trade amended.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of the section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No.64/1994-Customs (N.T.) dated the 21st November, 1994, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number S.O.831(E), dated the 21st November, 1994, namely:-

In the said notification,-

(a) for the provisos, the following provisos shall be substituted, namely:-

“Provided that port Pellet plant jetty at Shiroda is appointed to be coastal port for the purposes of carrying on of trade in iron ore pellets and its raw materials:

Provided further that Bhogat port is appointed to be a coastal port for carrying on of coastal trade in crude petroleum:”;

(b) in the TABLE, against serial number 9 relating to the State of Maharashtra, in column (3), after entry (50), the following entry shall be inserted, namely,- “(51) Yogayatan”.
