Cabinet approves pacts with Ethiopia on trade, Armenia on custom matters

The Dollar Business Bureau The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the trade agreement between India and Ethiopia for boosting and promoting trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. “The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has given its ex-post facto approval for the trade Agreement between India and Ethiopia for strengthening and promoting trade and economic co-operation,” said an official statement. The trade Agreement between the two countries was signed on October 5, 2017 during the visit of President Ram Nath Kovind to Ethiopia. The new trade agreement will replace the present trade agreement, which was signed between India and Ethiopia in 1982. India, Armenia sign three agreements to boost bilateral ties

The Dollar Business Bureau India and Armenia on Tuesday signed three agreements to strengthen bilateral cooperation, after Vice President of India Hamid Ansari held discussions with the Armenian leadership including Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, President Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian. Government approves pact with Armenia for cooperation in farm sector

Source: PTI Government today approved the signing and ratification of an inter-governmental pact between India and Armenia on cooperation in agriculture. "The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today gave its approval for signing and ratification of an Inter-Governmental agreement between India and Armenia, on cooperation in the field of Agriculture," an official statement said. This agreement will promote cooperation through short and medium term programmes, within the framework of the joint activities mentioned in the pact, it said.
