German industrial production fell for the first time in June

The Dollar Business Bureau  Germany’s industrial output had unexpectedly declined in June - for the first time this year, a data by German Ministry of Economic Affairs revealed on Monday. However, the industrial production increased overall in the second quarter of this year. The production fell by 1.1% in June after increasing 1.2% in May, the data showed. But production in factories and construction companies in Germany was 1.8% higher in the period April-June compared to the previous quarter. Indian auto industry to grow more than 3.5 times by 2026

Indian-origin tycoon Sanjeev Gupta to bail out another ailing UK plant

The Dollar Business Bureau Indian-origin businessman Sanjeev Gupta is likely to bail out yet another ailing plant in Britain after he agreed to acquire the UK’s biggest producer of merchant bars that are used in shaping steel products. As per the deal, Gupta’s Liberty House Group will buy out 100% of the share capital of the Caparo Merchant Bar Plc (CMB) from its managers of Caparo Industries. BMW Motorrad begins operations in India

Volkswagen reaches settlement with 10 US states on its emissions scandal

The Dollar Business Bureau  The German automaker Volkswagen has agreed to pay $157.5 million to 10 US states for violating emissions standards.
