CAPEXIL seeks nod from DGFT for issuing online RCMCs

The Dollar Business Bureau The Chemical and Allied Export Promotion Council of India (CAPEXIL) has requested the Directorate General of Foreign Trade to allow issuing online RCMCs (Registration Cum Membership Certificate) along with the online format of slightly-tweaked RCMC to adopt the digital set up.   The DGFT on Friday announced it received a request from the CAPEXIL. The DGFT said it has examined the request and observed that it has not prescribed any specific mode i.e. manual or online, for the issuance of RCMCs by the Export Promotion Councils (EPC). “Accordingly, the question of granting permission for issuance of online RCMCs does not arise,” it said. Govt to focus on Ease of Doing Business for pushing exports

The Dollar Business Bureau    The government is focused on facilitating Ease of Doing Business in the country so that the entrepreneurs, particularly in the MSME sector, can increase their efforts to enhance exports, Minister of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Kalraj Mishra said. “Two months back, a radical simplification was carried out in the process of registration by creating an online Udyog Aadhar Portal which now only has one-page form. Online filing on this portal can be done in just three minutes to get registration without spending any money,” Mishra said. Rubber industry demands separate body to promote exports

Himanshu Vatsa | The Dollar Business Rubber industry has asked the government to form a separate body to promote exports of rubber products from India. The All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA) has submitted its demand to the Commerce Ministry, seeking a dedicated export promotion council to encourage manufacturing of rubber products and their overseas shipment to tap the international market. At present, the export of rubber products comes under the Chemicals and Allied Products export promotion council (Capexil). “We have sent a letter to the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) under the Ministry of Commerce and demanded that there should be a separate export promotion council for rubber industry.
