India, Japan discuss defence ties, amid rising tension in region

The Dollar Business Bureau Amidst increasing tensions in the Asian region, India and Japan are having discussions to strengthen military partnership. Arun Jaitley, Defence Minister of India conveyed to the Japan’s Defence Minister, Tomomi Inada, on Monday that India hopes to follow a strategic cooperation with Japan for stability and peace in the region. India to buy $2 billion missile systems from Israel

The Dollar Business Bureau India, one of the world's largest defence importers, and Israel, globally known as a top exporter of military prowess, have signed a historic defence trade deal of $2 billion. Under the said deal, Israel will provide India with advanced surface to air missile (SAM) systems. These defence systems are used to target enemy aircraft, drones and missiles within a 50 km - 70 km range. The mega defence deal is a big step towards expanding bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries ahead of PM Modi's visit to Tel Aviv in July, 2017. India-Russia progress in defence co-operation through Make in India

India-Russia expand cooperation in civil aviation

The Dollar Business Bureau  Russia's Trade Minister indicated acceleration of India-Russia cooperation in Aviation as he announced that Russia is open to manufacture components for its Sukhoi super jet in India. India to lend Kenya $45 mn for industrial development

The Dollar Business Bureau India to provide $45 million Line of Credit to Kenya to help in developing a textile unit and other small industries, the leaders of two nations said on Monday.
