L&T Hydrocarbon signs pact with Parsons

The Dollar Business Bureau Larsen & Tourbo Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE ) on Tuesday announced it has signed a pact with Parsons to provide engineering and design solutions in America."L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, a leading engineering and construction company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of L&T, announced a teaming agreement with Parsons to provide engineering and design solutions for onshore and offshore projects across the hydrocarbon, fertiliser, chemicals, and modular plant sectors," L&T said in a statement. BGR energy scraps power plant contract in Iraq

The Dollar Business Bureau BGR Energy Systems has canceled a $246-million order to set up a 500 MW gas turbine power plant in Iraq for Al Nasiriya.  The company in its BSE filing said, “The company has now struck off a carryover contract value of $246 million from its order book." It has entered into an Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contract on October 13, 2013 which was valued at $246 million for the Al Nasiriya 500 MW Gas Turbine Power Plant project with the Ministry of Electricity, Iraq(MoE). GMR led consortium gets the nod for Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor railway project

 The Dollar Business Bureau A consortium led by GMR Infrastructure Limited has been issued Letters of Award for construction of 417 Km long Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor railway project at a cost of Rs 5,080 crore on EPC (engineering procurement contract) basis. The project is divided into 2 packages - Package 201 from Mughalsarai to Karchana (near Allahabad) for 180 km and package 202 from Karchana to Bhaupur (near Kanpur) for 237 Km in the State of Uttar Pradesh. The project which is funded by World Bank involves Design and Construction of Civil, Structures and Track Works for Double Line Railway on Design Build Lump Sum Basis and shall be completed in 45 months.
