India-Korea ties to spur maritime trade, energy, film sectors

 The Dollar Business Bureau India and South Korea are likely to join hands to boost sea transport, energy and film industries of the two countries.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi who began his five-day tour to Asian countries on Thursday is scheduled to visit South Korea on May 18-19. Modi is expected to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Korea for cooperation in the fields of maritime transport and logistics. Government must address issues of Indian companies in China

 The Dollar Business Bureau An industry body has asked the government to take urgent steps to reduce non-tariff barriers and ensure level-playing field for Indian companies in China. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) submitted a memorandum to the government a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to begin his five-day tour to China, South Korea and Mongolia.
