MP attracts Rs 5.63 lakh crore investment commitments

The Dollar Business Bureau The two-day Global Investors Summit held in Indore witnessed the state of Madhya Pradesh received investment commitments worth Rs 5.63 lakh crore across different sectors, revealed Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at a press meet. The investors gave a huge response during the summit with the state receiving more than 2,600 investment proposals. During the event, the Chief Minister also expressed his willingness to turn the state into the world’s best business destination by providing all the necessary support. Telangana to host global investor summit in 2017

Sharath Chowdary The Telangana government is preparing to host an investor summit in Hyderabad early next year to attract investments from all over the world, Telangana IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao told The Dollar Business Bureau. Speaking to the media after the release of the State Department of Industries and Commerce annual report in Hyderabad on Saturday, the minister said that the government wants to associate with all major industry bodies of the state and country to organise the investors’meet. MP Govt signs $1 bn MoU with Chinas Sany group

The Dollar Business Bureau The government of Madhya Pradesh on Monday has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China’s Sany Group, worth $1 billion. The company has shown interest in investing in 500 MW wind energy sector and constructing industrial infrastructure, revealed a government spokesperson. Speaking on the occasion, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh assured full cooperation to the Chinese company. The Chief Minister also invited the company to take part in the Global Investors' Summit (GIS) to be held in Indore  from October 22-23 this year.
