Due to the strike by RTG operators, container handling operations have been severely affected at the terminal for the last week, leading to congestion and delay in sailing of vessels. Brihanmumbai Custom House Agents’ Association (BCHAA) has issued a ‘trade advisory’ in this regard. The association’s export committee chairman Milan Desai in an official ‘trade advisory’ said that the south gate entrance to the terminal was closed on April 12, 2015 and is non-functional.
