NEC cries for funds as new project launch gets affected

PTI The North Eastern Council is facing acute shortage of funds, hampering implementation of several of its dream projects like setting up of educational institutes, skill development centres and sports academies."We have so many dream projects to implement, but there is no money. Blue Star expects a growth of 30% in FY 2017

The Dollar Business Bureau   Blue Star, the largest air conditioning (AC) and commercial refrigeration company in India, has expected a total growth of 30 percent during the financial year 2016-17.  During a press meet on Tuesday, B Thiagarajan, Joint Managing Director, Blue Star said, "As a brand, Blue Star continues to be a major player in the commercial and corporate segment which consists of a 25 percent of the total market size.” In the last financial year, the company grew at a rate of 20 percent which is more than the growth of industry and had a market share of 10 percent, Thiagarajan said. Centre for private players in construction of food storage pools

Sai Nikesh | The Dollar Business In addition to already existing central pools available with Food Grain Corporation of India (FCI) for the storage of food grains, the Indian Ministry of State for Consumer Affairs on Tuesday informed that the government is keen on involving private players in the construction of storage capacities for food grains. In a move to further augment the available food grain storages in the country, the government is planning to rope in private entrepreneurs, private warehouses, Central Warehouse Corporation (CWC) and State Warehousing Corporation (SWC) under Private Entrepreneurship Guarantee scheme.
