The Dollar Business Bureau  Oman has finished preparations for becoming a regional hub for exports and imports, after billions of rials of investment for the development of ports along the country’s coast line, according to a report. India will consider an open sky agreement for flights within 5,000 km: Oman Air

The Dollar Business Bureau India has plans to have an open sky agreement with the nations, which are within the radius of 5,000 km, said Oman Air Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Paul Gregorowitsch on Thursday. Indian foreign investors top UAE realty market

PTI  Indians have emerged the top foreign property investors in Dubai, spending over $3.2 billion last year alone, according to the Dubai Land Department. The total real estate investments last year reached Dh91 billion ($2.4bn) from 55,928 investors and Indians were ranked highest in terms of both volume and value among foreign investors with Dh12 billion ($3.2 bn) worth of property transactions from 6,263 buyers. India and Oman sign four main defence agreements

The Dollar Business Bureau With a focus to intensify military cooperation, India and Oman have signed four critical agreements, deepening the bilateral ties between them. The four agreements are on defence cooperation, maritime issues, marine crime prevention and flight safety information exchange. The agreement was signed after the maiden visit of Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar to Oman. Revamped SFURTI scheme to boost Khadi industry

The Dollar Business Bureau The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) on Sunday, organized an event aimed at promotion of traditional industries of India. A national workshop on revamping of ‘Scheme of fund for regeneration of traditional industries (SFURTI)’ was aimed at creating platform for interaction and knowledge sharing on cluster development. Speaking at the meet, the Union Minister of MSME, Kalraj Mishra announced that under the current five year plan, the Ministry would set up 800 SFURTI clusters to boost the Khadi and Village Industries (K&VIs).
