Ram Nath Kovind will be the new President of India, to take oath on July 25

The Dollar Business Bureau Former Governor of Bihar and National Democratic Alliance's (NDA's) Presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind will become the 14th President of India. He will succeed the incumbent President Pranab Mukherjee, whose tenure is completing on July 25. Kovind obtained 65.65% of votes from the Electoral College, while his opponent, joint Opposition nominee Meira Kumar got just 34.35%. “Kovind secured 2930 votes with a value of 7,02,044. Nepal-India to strengthen cooperation in trade, security, energy

Combined GDP of India, Africa would be $35 tn by 2050: President

Aamir H Kaki President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday said that a new spirit of awakening and cooperation could describe the partnership between India and Africa. It is projected that by 2050, the combined GDP of the two regions would reach $35 trillion and the combined population would surpass 4 billion.  "The India-Africa century has begun and let us accelerate this process,” he said while inaugurating the 12th CII-EXIM Bank Conclave on India Africa Project Partnership, in New Delhi. Nepal eager to develop water connectivity with India
