Suzlon to strike a 14-cr deal with AMP Solar

Ltd for its solar projects, wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy is ready to sell its 49 per cent stake in its special purpose vehicle (SPV) Rudra Solarfarms Ltd to Canadian solar firm AMP Solar Group for Rs 14 crore.  AMP can later go for purchasing the remaining 51 percent stake in the SPV. Suzlon bags 50.40 MW project from a leading business house

The Dollar Business Bureau Suzlon Group, a leading renewable energy solutions provider in the world, announced on Monday that it has won an order of 50.40 MW project for wind power from a leading business house. “The project consists of 24 units of S95 90m tubular tower with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW,” Suzlon said in a press release. The project is located in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh and is likely to be completed in March next year, it said. Suzlon forges JV with Ostro energy for 50 MW solar project

The Dollar Business Bureau Suzlon group on Wednesday said it entered into a joint venture with Ostro Energy to develop and construct a 50 MW solar project in Telangana.  According to the agreement signed between the Suzlon group and Ostro Energy on Monday, Ostro Energy shall acquire 49% stake in Prathamesh Solarfarms, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) established by Suzlon to execute this project.  Ostro Energy has the option to acquire the remaining 51% stake in accordance with relevant rules and regulations. CLP plans to acquire Suzlon project in Telangana

The Dollar Business Bureau Hong Kong based electric power generation company, CLP Group, is planning to acquire Suzlon Energy’s 100 MW solar power project in Telangana. CLP India, the wholly-owned local arm of the company is in talks with Suzlon to buy stakes in the project, said a media release. According to the company, CLP India wants to diversify its clean energy portfolio in India. Suzlon installs 900 MW projects in India in FY16

The Dollar Business Bureau Suzlon group, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, announced that it has done commissioning of 900 MW projects of wind energy in the financial year 2015-16. Out of which, the commissioning 520 MW is done in the fourth quarter of 2015-16.
