The Dollar Business Bureau A major global cyber attack which disrupted Russia’s major oil company, Ukrainian banks and multinational banks, has affected the computer terminals at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Mumbai, shutting down one out of its three operations. Sources from Press Trust of India report that the virus has affected many other terminals in the country. The powerful ransomware has impacted many central banks and large corporations in Europe. India trims US securities holdings to $118.8 bn

The Dollar Business Bureau India reduced its holdings of the US government securities to $118.8 billion in February this year, amid continuing economic uncertainties across the globe. This could be due to a slowing down in US GDP to 1.4% in the fourth quarter of 2015 from 2% in the third quarter. Energy body refutes reports of centre not pursuing solar plants with 1 lakh MW

 Jayarama Emani| The Dollar Business President of Solar Energy Society of India (SESI), Ajay Prakash Shrivastava, refuted reports in certain sections of the Media that claimed that the government is not pursuing installation of solar plants with 1 lakh megawatt capacity in the year 2015-16.
